Snooki Arrested in Jersey -- Disorderly Conduct

Snooki won't disappoint this season.

America's beloved pint-sized troublemaker Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, the breakout star of MTV's hit reality show "Jersey Shore," was arrested for disorderly conduct in her Seaside Heights roaming grounds yesterday while she was staggering around drunk, sources told The Post.


An intoxicated Snooki spent the day boozing on the New Jersey beach with cast members when her antics attracted the attention of cops.

Cameras were rolling for Season 3 of the insanely popular show -- which embraces "Guido" culture, hedonism and rock-hard abs -- for Snooki's embarrassing arrest at 3:30 p.m.

"She was drunk in public and had an argument with the officers," a source close to the cast told The Post. "This is 100 percent real, and not a set-up for the show."

She was so drunk "she couldn't stand up," E! Online reported.

The "guidette" was dressed in a tight pink leopard print tank top with the word "Slut" and an even tighter miniskirt that revealed the bottom of her buttocks.

One witness said: "She was on her knees and kept falling on the beach. People were laughing and taking pictures of her before the cops arrested her."

MTV spokeswoman Emily Yeomans declined to comment.

"When our police went to deal with the situation -- not Mike 'The Situation' -- they found the need to arrest her," Seaside Heights Borough Administrator John Camera told The Star-Ledger of Newark.

Camera said the 4-foot-9 Snooki had been "bothering" people not involved with the show.

Seaside Heights police said poof-sporting Polizzi was charged with disorderly conduct and was "under the influence."

"When she got in [the station house] she got a little better, but her behavior wasn't good," a source said.

She was issued a summons and was released.

Last night Snooki dined with housemates Jenny "JWOWW" Farley, and Dina at a swanky Italian restaurant. Afterwards, the trio strolled back to their house flanked by police.

Earlier, paparazzi snapped pictures of Snooki, 22, sitting on a bench and pouring liquid into a beer bong.

Thor comic con trailerThor: Kenneth Branagh's film...

I just thought it sounded like a weird idea because Kenneth Branagh's directing it, so I was just like: 'Kenneth Branagh doing Thor is super-weird, I've gotta do it'."

That's Natalie Portman's take on Thor, the next instalment in Marvel's ongoing bid to bring its vast catalogue to the big screen (or at least, those characters who weren't auctioned off to other studios before the company worked out that it could do a better job itself). She's right, isn't she? Branagh's involvement is pretty much the main thing the film has going for it: it may have been 21 years since he was nominated for a best director Oscar for Henry V while still in his 20s, but his involvement still gives the project a certain gravitas.

Inevitably, Branagh has the denizens of Asgard speaking the Queen's English, while the earthlings whom the Norse deity encounters after being thrown out of heaven are resolutely American. Sir Anthony Hopkins is Odin, Thor himself is Chris Hemsworth, while the villainous Loki is Branagh's old mucker Tom Hiddleston, an alumni of the stage version of Ivanov, for which Ken won a best actor critics' circle award in 2008. Amusingly, The Wire's Idris Elba plays Heimdall, the all-seeing, all-hearing Asgardian sentry, a casting choice that has stirred much debate. Portman plays Jane Foster, a scientist and Thor's human love interest.

Six minutes of footage was screened at last week's Comic-Con in San Diego, which has now appeared online via ComicBookMovie.com. Check it out in the clip above.

The first thing that strikes me is that Marvel has


pursued the CGI route for Asgard. I suppose this was inevitable, given that other films from the studio have followed the same path, with mixed results. Both Jon Favreau's Iron Man films have shown how it is possible to seamlessly integrate computer-generated imagery with live-action footage, but Louis Leterrier's The Incredible Hulk only proved that an angry green giant is a lot less scary when he looks like an extra from World of Warcraft.

Branagh's Asgard, for me, has all the pomp and grandeur of a cheap computer game intro. I'm fully aware that the cost of recreating a real-life Norse heaven, with all those sweeping aerial shots and all that gleaming gold and steel, might have been astronomical. But surely models, or a mixture of models and footage of epic landscapes and real buildings would have been preferable? Even scenes in the interior of Odin's palace seem to have been shot against a green screen background, which must have made it pretty hard for the actors involved to perform at their best. All in all, if this is Branagh's "weird" take, it's looking like the wrong kind of weird.

With that little rant over, the rest of the film looks pretty decent at this early stage. Once again, Agent Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D (first introduced in Iron Man) seems to be woven intelligently into the fabric of the movie, bringing to Thor a nice feel of consanguinity with the earlier film and helping to set things up for The Avengers (which will unite both characters with Captain America). Hemsworth certainly looks the part as Thor, and Hopkins appears to be on bombastic form as Odin.

The main problem with the film, apart from all that ropey CGI, will be convincing audiences that this character can exist, not only in a version of our world, but in the same world as Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk. When Stan Lee came had the masterstroke of making his next superhero a living, breathing, immortal God, way back in 1962, he didn't have to worry too much about scientific authenticity: no child is going to take a comic book and start picking holes in the fantasy with which he or she has been presented. But in choosing to shoot its back catalogue in live action, Marvel has forced itself into a position where we have to believe in its universe as a tangible, practical reality, even if it is one in which people can fly and gamma rays transform humans into enormous, snarling green versions of Wayne Rooney after a particularly bad England match.

What are your thoughts on Thor? Could this be the first non-Iron Man movie from Marvel to meet the gold standard? And will Branagh bring just enough "weirdness" to this one to make it interesting, or is it already looking like an almighty mess?

c 17 crash elmendorf

The US Air Force has launched an investigation into the cause of the first major accident to have involved a Boeing C-17 strategic transport.

A C-17A assigned to the service's 3rd Wing at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska crashed on the base at 18:14 local time yesterday while "on a local training mission", the service confirms.


The status of the four crew members aboard the aircraft was listed as "unknown" following the incident.

According to local media reports, the C-17's crew had been rehearsing a display routine for the Arctic Thunder air show, which is scheduled to be held at Elmendorf on 31 July and 1 August.

The USAF's C-17A fleet totalled 199 aircraft before the 28 July accident, says Flightglobal's MiliCAS database. Another 19 of the type are also operated by the air forces of Australia, Canada, Qatar and the UK, and by a 12-nation consortium of NATO and Partnership for Peace nations.

“Then I’ll kill those kids.” Gin draws his sword and restrains Aizen’s sword.
Then using his own clothes for a blindfold, he stabs Aizen through the chest with his own sword.

But this is not enough to kill me.” Gin looks down at his sword. He shows a part of his blade where a portion is missing. He says he left that portion inside Aizen.
“I was lying when I explained my ability before. It doesn’t extend as long as I said. And it’s not as fast as I said, either.
Only that when it expands and contracts for an instant it becomes dust. Furthermore, inside the blade is a deadly poison that dissolves the cells.
When the sword was retracted after piercing you, I left a fragment of dust inside of you, Captain.
And so he puts his hand on Aizen’s chest. “Die! God Killing Lance” “Gin….you bastard…!!” says Aizen.
“A hole will open up in your chest and you’ll die. That is my long cherished ambition.” As he says this the fragment inside Aizen begins to dissolve. Until next chapter.

Airplane crash in Pakistan kills 152 people aboard

SLAMABAD — A passenger jet crashed into the hills surrounding Pakistan's capital amid poor weather Wednesday, killing all 152 people on board and blazing a path of devastation strewn with body parts and twisted metal wreckage.

Initial Interior Ministry reports that five people survived the Airblue crash were wrong, said Imtiaz Elahi, chairman of the Capital Development Authority, which deals with emergencies and reports to the ministry.

"The situation at the site of the crash is heartbreaking," Elahi told The Associated Press. "It is a great tragedy, and I confirm it with pain that there are no survivors."

The dead included two U.S. citizens, the spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Richard Snelsire, said without providing further details.

Local TV footage showed twisted metal wreckage hanging from trees and scattered across the ground on a bed of broken branches. Fire was visible and smoke rose


from the scene as a helicopter hovered above. The army said it was sending special troops to aid the search.

"I'm seeing only body parts," Dawar Adnan, a rescue worker with the Pakistan Red Crescent, told the AP by telephone from the crash site. "This is a very horrible scene. We have scanned almost all the area, but there is no chance of any survivors."

The search effort was hampered by muddy conditions and smoldering wreckage that authorities were having trouble

extinguishing by helicopter, Adnan said.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear, but Defense Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar said the government does not suspect terrorism.

The plane left the southern city of Karachi at 7:45 a.m. for a two-hour scheduled flight to Islamabad and was trying to land during cloudy and rainy weather, said Pervez George, a civil aviation official.

Airblue is a private service based in Karachi, Pakistan's largest city, and Wednesday's flight was believed to be carrying mostly Pakistanis.

Rescue workers scouring the heavily forested hills recovered nearly 80 bodies from the wreckage, said Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority in a statement.

"The plane was about to land at the Islamabad airport when it lost contact with the control tower, and later we learned that the plane had crashed," said George, adding the model was an Airbus 321 and the flight number was ED202.

The crash site covered a large area on both sides of the hills, including a section behind Faisal Mosque, one of Islamabad's most prominent landmarks, and not far from the Daman-e-Koh resort.

At the Islamabad airport, hundreds of friends and relatives of those on board the flight swarmed ticket counters desperately seeking information. A large cluster of people also surrounded a passenger list posted near the Airblue ticket counter.

Saqlain Altaf told Pakistan's ARY news channel he was on a family outing in the hills when he saw the plane looking unsteady in the air. "The plane had lost balance, and then we saw it going down," he said, adding he heard the crash.

Officials at first thought it was a small plane, but later revised that. George said 146 passengers were on the flight along with six crew members.

The Pakistan Airline Pilot Association said the plane appeared to have strayed off course, possibly because of the poor weather.

Raheel Ahmed, a spokesman for the airline, said an investigation would be launched into the cause of the crash. The plane had no known technical issues, and the pilots did not send any emergency signals, Ahmed said.

Airbus said it would provide technical assistance to Pakistani authorities responsible for the investigation. The aircraft was initially delivered in 2000, and was leased to Airblue in January 2006. It accumulated about 34,000 flight hours during some 13,500 flights, it said.

The last major plane crash in Pakistan was in July 2006 when a Fokker F-27 twin-engine aircraft operated by Pakistan International Airlines slammed into a wheat field on the outskirts of the central Pakistani city of Multan, killing all 45 people on board.

Airblue flies within Pakistan as well as internationally to the United Arab Emirates, Oman and the United Kingdom.

The only previous recorded accident for Airblue, a carrier that began flying in 2004, was a tail-strike in May 2008 at Quetta airport by one of the airline's Airbus 321 jets. There were no casualties and damage was minimal, according to the U.S.-based Aviation Safety Network.

The Airbus 320 family of medium-range jets, which includes the 321 model that crashed Wednesday, is one of the most popular in the world, with about 4,000 jets delivered since deliveries began in 1988.

Twenty-one of the aircraft have been lost in accidents since then, according to the Aviation Safety Network's database. The deadliest was a 2007 crash at landing in Sao Paolo by Brazil's TAM airline, in which all 187 people on board perished, along with 12 others on the ground.

This week, he was on the set of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation playing a troubled teen in his dramatic acting debut.

Bieber's character, Joshua McCann, "is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother -- a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs," according to a statement on the website for the CBS show.

The episode will air September 23, and is just the "beginning of an emotional story" that will resurface later in the series, the statement added.

Wow, people will jump to any conclusion to take down celebrities or try to gain attention. The latest rumor surrounding Justin Bieber, aka Biebanana, aka Biebtastic, aka Biebcredible, is that he was arrested for molesting a fan. How a 16-year-old molests an adult woman (according to “reports”) is beyond me. But anyway, all of the “Justin Bieber molests fan” clamor was due to the photo above.

However, there is a simple explanation. As we reported earlier, Justin was filming for an episode of CSI, in which he plays a troubled teen. Sprinkle a bit of logic into that mix and you’ll be able to figure out that the picture was from the episode, and the jumpsuit is for the character, not Biebslice himself.

Taliban claim to capture US sailor, kill another

he Taliban claimed Sunday that they killed a U.S. sailor and kidnapped another as NATO forces ramped up a massive search for the servicemen, who went missing two days earlier in an area held by the militants.

The coalition force set up checkpoints and distributed fliers with the sailors' pictures and are offering thousands of dollars in rewards for their return. There were conflicting reports about whether the body of one of the two had been recovered.


U.S. and NATO officials confirmed that two American Navy personnel went missing Friday in the eastern province of Logar, after an armored sport utility vehicle was seen driving into a Taliban-held area. NATO officials were unable to say what they were doing in such a dangerous part of eastern Afghanistan.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid also said the pair drove into an area under insurgent control, prompting a brief gunfight in which one American was killed and the other was captured. He said both were taken to a "safe area" and "are in the hands of the Taliban."
 

The sailors' heavily reinforced white Land Cruiser has been recovered, according to a security official in Logar who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to disclose the information.

Another local official, Abdul Wali, the deputy head of the provincial governing council, said the Taliban sent a message through intermediaries offering to hand over the body of one sailor in exchange for jailed insurgents.

He said local authorities told the Taliban, "`Let's talk about the one that is still alive.'" He said the insurgents indicated they would have to talk to superiors before making any deal.

Mujahid, in a telephone call Sunday with The Associated Press, did not mention any Taliban demands.

"We are going to talk about that later," he said.

The Taliban did not claim responsibility for the missing sailors for more than 48 hours after the ambush. That suggested that the Friday attack was unplanned and the militants were trying to figure out how to handle it.

Later Sunday, the Taliban posted a message in English and Arabic on their website that claimed one American service member had been kidnapped in Logar and said another was killed in a shootout, according to SITE Intelligence Group. The website message included a picture of one of the fliers, showing the photo of one of the sailors, but did not say whether he was alive or dead.

According to a translation of the website message by SITE, the Taliban have one of the sailors in a "safe place" where he will not be found. The message also mentions Spc. Bowe Bergdahl, the only other U.S. service member known to be in Taliban captivity.

Bergdahl of Hailey, Idaho, disappeared June 30, 2009, in Paktika province, also in eastern Afghanistan. That area is heavily infiltrated by the Haqqani network, which has deep links to al-Qaida. He has since appeared on videos posted on Taliban websites confirming his captivity.

New York Times reporter David Rohde was also kidnapped in Logar province while trying to make contact with a Taliban commander. He and an Afghan colleague escaped in June 2009 after seven months in captivity, most of it spent in Taliban sanctuaries in Pakistan.

Hundreds of fliers, with reprinted photos of the two missing sailors, have been distributed throughout Logar province where NATO troops were stopping motorists, searching people, peering inside vehicles and searching trunks. The photographs show one clean-shaven sailor wearing a soft cap and another with short-cropped hair, wearing a blue civilian shirt and a white undershirt.

The fliers say: "This American troop is missing. He was last seen in a white Land Cruiser vehicle. If you have any information about this soldier, kindly contact the Logar Joint Coordination Center," run by coalition and Afghan forces. A phone number is listed along with information about a $20,000 reward being offered for information leading to their location.

"Our latest, accurate information reports are that they are still in the area," said Din Mohammed Darwesh, spokesman for the provincial governor of Logar.

He said the governor's office was upset because the two Americans left their base without notifying Afghan security forces in Logar, which is the normal protocol.

"This was an abnormal situation," Darwesh said.

The visiting chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen, told reporters Sunday that while he did not have all the details about the missing servicemen, "from what I know right now, this is an unusual circumstance."

Mullen said he could not comment on the Taliban claim that one American was killed and the other captured. He says the U.S. was doing all it could to "return to American hands anybody who has been captured or killed."

"There's a tremendous amount of effort going on to find them, to search, and beyond that I can't discuss any additional details at this time. It serves to remind of the challenges that we have and also the service and sacrifice that so many make, but that's really all I can talk about."

The Afghan security official who spoke on condition of anonymity claimed that the body of one of the sailors was recovered Sunday in the village of Argan in Charkh district, but a NATO official said the coalition did not have confirmation of the status or condition of either of the two.

The NATO official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to disclose the information, declined to say which base the two left from, or why they were traveling in Logar.

Samer Gul, the chief of Logar's Charkh district, said a four-wheel drive armored sports utility vehicle was seen Friday night by a guard working for the district chief's office. The guard tried to flag down the vehicle, carrying a driver and a passenger, but it kept going, Gul said.

"They stopped in the main bazaar of Charkh district. The Taliban saw them in the bazaar," Gul said. "They didn't touch them in the bazaar, but notified other Taliban that a four-wheel vehicle was coming their way."

The second group of Taliban tried to stop the vehicle, but when it didn't, insurgents opened fire and the occupants in the vehicle shot back, he said.

Gul said there is a well-paved road that leads into the Taliban area and suggested the Americans may have mistaken that for the main highway — which is much older and more dilapidated.

Resident evil afterlife3D trailer

Afterlife hits theaters September 10, 2010. Women kicking more undead ass?

Last night in San Francisco, a theater full of lucky Wondercon attendees stood in line for hours to get a sneak peek of this Fall’s fourth installment in the massively popular Resident Evil films, Afterlife.

The audience (this GeekGirl included) roared when Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, and director Paul W.S. Anderson entered. I was impressed by their genuine excitement to be premiering the trailer to fans. I was already excited when I thought Ali Larter was going to be the only one there, but I definitely went full-fangirl for Jovovich. I mean, this is Leeloo we’re talking about. LEELOO.

The stars stepped aside as the lights dimmed and we donned 3D glasses.

The trailer starts by following a biplane passing over different remnants of destruction. Alice (Jovovich’s character) narrates, saying “Five years ago, a virus escaped…” The plane passes over a destroyed Hollywood sign and the rubble that was once Los Angeles. It cuts to scenes of Claire (played by Larter) and Alice fighting, and we immediately see that this new movie will look completely different than its predecessor, Extinction.

Gone are the earthy tones, the gritty desert landscape. Claire and Alice are seen in skintight vinyl catsuits contrasted against gleaming white floors and crashing through glass, fighting men in suits, trenchcoats, and shades. Very Matrix-y. It seems that they’ve made it to one of the underground hives alluded to in the last film.

The ever-delicious Wentworth Miller, known for his role as the tattooed Michael Scofield on Prison Break, joins the cast as Claire’s brother Chris, and is shown in a few quick shots.

The 3D actually added to the trailer for me, although some shots were a little much, like when Alice throws shuriken right at the camera. I was pretty impressed by their use of Real 3D (which director Anderson was keen to point out, versus post-formatted to 3D like Alice in Wonderland).

Afterward, Jovovich, Larter, and Anderson answered questions. Milla stated that she first was interested in the project because it was her “brother’s favorite video game” and that everyone who worked on the project were “real fans of the game.”

Larter gushed about working with Jovovich again, stating that “There aren’t a lot of women who can kick ass like her.”

As they played the trailer a second time, I ran out of the theater and stopped director Paul W.S. Anderson in his tracks. I asked him what excited him about Afterlife. He was very enthusiastic about using the same exact technology that James Cameron developed for Avatar, and that Afterlife is “by far the biggest film of the series. We went to five different continents to film this movie.”

I asked about the trailer heavily featuring Alice and Claire “kicking ass,” and he laughed and stated “You’ll see that and even more as Chris joins the team.”

19 killed in a stampede at the Love Parade in the German city of Duisburg

(Reuters) - The death toll from a stampede at a "Love Parade" techno music festival in Germany rose to 19 on Sunday and police pursued an investigation into how the mass panic occurred.

Investigators and organisers scheduled a news conference for 1000 GMT on their findings so far regarding Saturday's incident in an entrance tunnel to a former rail station in the west German city of Duisburg where the event was held.

"We are currently working with the organisers and collecting evidence in hopes of reconstructing the events, but it will be labour- and time-intensive," police spokesman Christoph Gilles said by telephone on Sunday.

The festival drew about 1.4 million people from all over Europe, most in the 18-26 age bracket.

Police in the Ruhr industrial city said another festival-goer felled in the stampede died overnight, raising the toll to 19, with 342 people injured.



Duisburg police tried to close the tunnel entrance about a half an hour before the chaos broke out in the late afternoon on Saturday, but panic ensued nonetheless.

"Apparently some tried to enter the area by climbing a fence along a ramp and then fell," the head of an emergency task force, Wolfgang Rabe, told ARD television late on Saturday.

"It is still a presumption at the moment, but this could have caused a panic," he added.

The festival was not immediately cancelled because authorities feared an abrupt halt could spark a second panic.

Music blared out after the stampede and people danced on, unaware of the unfolding tragedy nearby. Organisers finally called the event off in late evening hours after the deaths.

Rescue work was initially hampered by the huge crowds attending one of Europe's biggest electronic music events in fine weather, officials said.Crushed 15 people have died after a stampede at the entrances to the festival of techno music Love Parade to be held in the German city of Duisburg in the west of the country, as reported by the police. The same sources have confirmed that a dozen other people were seriously injured after the stampede. "Initial information indicates that 10 people died and 10 had to be revived and there are more than 15 wounded," he had said the police director, Ralf Klauck, just after the event, in the first count. According to German public television WDR, the number of injured could reach a hundred.

The incident occurred in a pedestrian tunnel leading to the entrance of a former railway station, where they celebrated the festival, which organizers estimate that had gone a million people. Access to the event was closed due to overcrowding, reports the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. According to witnesses, police tried to prevent him getting more people to the site. Some of the people trying to access has dropped pushed by the mass and have been crushed.

Health services could barely cut through the crowd to treat the injured. According to the same newspaper, the festival has not been immediately suspended after the incident and continued to hold some performances. Thor Movie Trailer Watch .......

The Marvel panel in Hall H just finished a little bit ago, and we saw footage from both Captain America and Thor. Captain America’s footage was still a very rough cut as they’ve only been filming for a few weeks, Thor’s footage was finished and looked good. The audience went crazy for both showings, a similar reaction to the first screening of Iron Man back in 2007. Any doubts for Thor were completely annihilated when the trailer began. They decided to show a the Thor trailer again, not giving the audience enough time to come down from the high that the first trailer delivered. At the end of the second trailer, we were asked to stick around for a bit. The lights dimmed down and Samuel L. Jackson’s voice played, we were getting a super early teaser trailer of The Avengers! The audience went insane when the trailer stopped Samuel L. Jackson was standing there, in front of the 6, 500 screaming fans. Jackson began speaking and introduced The Avengers. Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evan’s as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow (the audience lost their minds) and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark (the audience goes wild). Robert takes over the mic and introduces Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, not giving the audience time to breath. After Renner walks out Downey slams another big hit on us, Mark Ruffalo is playing Bruce Banner in The Avengers. Is Downey done yet? Not at all. After Ruffalo comes out, Downey brings out Writer/Director of The Avengers and the audience finally and completely loses it!

This is just awesome news! We had heard that Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo had joined The Avengers, but this confirmation was just awesome! Marvel, you’ve officially made Comic-Con the greatest experience a movie geek could EVER ask for!

Silent Hill 2 Movie

Silent Hill 2 Movie:Writer Roger Avary and producer Samuel Hadida return to Silent Hill for Silent Hill 2. Two worked together for the 2006 prequel, which raised about $ 100 million worldwide.

Hollywood Reporter says that shooting will begin next year after Hadid, and his studio Davis film ends with Resident Evil: Afterlife with Milla Jovovich.

In January 2008, Avery was involved in a car accident which saw his wife hospitalized, and his friend, 34-year-old Andreas Zini, killed. Director, entered his plea in Ventura, California court in late August. He will be sentenced on 29 September and is currently free on bail. And next year, Silent Hill 2 will begin shooting.

serving time in prison when guards of San Quentin found him drunk after he’d fallen into a latrine. This is a part of the many shattering stories that the country singer shared in Merle Haggard: Learning to Live With Myself. It is a PBS documentary that features the life of the country singer. Said documentary will be shown as part of the network’s “American Masters” series.
The show takes a closer look at the life of Haggard centering on his growing-up years in Bakersfield, California, the death of his father, his life as a teenager who repeatedly escaped youth institutions and how he later made it to the top of the Country Song industry ladder.
“It’s about how this guy is trying to accept himself and deal with everything that happened to him in his life when he was young,” says director Gandulf Hennig. For the documentary, Hennig trailed after Haggard for three years. He integrated Haggard’s early performances in the documentary. The film also shows interviews with Kris Kristofferson, John Foggerty, Keith Richards and Robert Duvall. Merle Haggard is one of the great legends in the history of music. He has been one of the greatest singers of his time and now he is being wanted for some special tasks to be done fast. He was successful in countering the awful disease of lung cancer and now he is subjected to the “American Masters”. The media has made a huge and respectable documentary on his life starring him as a person who has struggled all his life to have the taste of success. The documentary made on the life of Merle Haggard is known as “Merle Haggard: Learning to live with myself”. This new documentary will be focusing on the life of Haggard as an artist who made all his efforts to reach at this position.
Now Merle Haggard is successful in becoming a legend in the history of music. Haggard used to present his voice at the local people at the train stations and inside the trains. He started his journey to become a super star and now he has made it to the top of the singer’s lists. Merle is an emotional song writer and all his hardships can be listened in his songs. He had spent his precious childhood years with difficulties due to the early death of his father and in the start of singing he had spent some of his years in San Quentin. He became a good singer due to his famous albums “Mama Tried” and “Okie from Muskogee”. The documentary of Haggard will become an inspiration for recent struggling artists.

Alex king and his brother Derek King were sentenced on Nov. 26, 2001 for slaying of their father Terry King. That time Derek was only 13 years old and Alex was 12. Alex brother confessed to using a baseball bat to crush his father’s skull and Alex helped him to make murder plan.
As per some news site Derek King said after killing his father “Alex suggested that I kill dad. I murdered my dad with an aluminum baseball bat. I set the house on fire from my dad’s bedroom.” And Alex King said “I felt a little sad about it, a little bit sad, a little bit, um. . . a little relieved that we don’t have to go through it, what he put us through again. . . the abuse.” The boys sentences were short because of their ages at the time of the murder. CNN’s show `Larry King Live’ is set to interview convicted killer Alex King on the show that schedules tonight at
8 pm. Alex King along with his brother Derek who were released in 2008/2009 pleaded guilty to their dad’s murder back in 2001. At the time Derek King just aged 13 bludgeoned his father to death with a baseball bat whilst Alex King,12 confessed to planning his death.
