Jessi Slaughter (real name Jessica Leonhardt) is the 11-year-old girl who “turned her webcam into a weapon” and has found herself in the middle of one of the most controversial cyber bullying cases in the US.
Today, the family appeared on Good Morning America where Jessi had the chance to
explain her behavior and defend her actions. Unfortunately, the 11-year-old was unsuccessful in her endeavors. Most of you remember when the 11-year-old told
everyone on the web that she would “pop a glock in your mouth and make a brain slushy” and encouraged them to “go get AIDS and die” (watch video below) but when asked about the punishment for the cyber bullies, Jessi had the following to say:
“I think it’s completely wrong that someone would actually taunt someone to the degree that they would kill themselves over it and thats actual completely wrong and whoevers doing it should be locked away for a really long time.” An ironic statement for a girl who, just weeks ago, told her “haters” she was going to pop a glock in their mouths, don’t you think? Jessi’s full interview (with her parents) on Good Morning America can be seen below:

After the video hit the web, Jessi was immediately attacked by online groups, some even threatening her life. Her parents quickly started speaking out on the incident, although both Jessi’s mom and dad were in denial about their young daughter’s behavior – and her mom even refused to watch the horrifying video.
